For a deeper understanding we recommend the book Accelerator Technology, which presents the physical and technological basis of our analysis methods. This knowledge base can only present a short introduction into the topic, but we consider it important for our customers to understand the specific advantages and options of ion-beam analysis. The complicated physics and technology required for ion-beam analysis restricted its application to niches, but, similar to the electron microscope, we believe our solutions enable a wide-spread use of this powerful set of  methods.
